FLORENCE Y’ALLS DEVELOP HOT DOGS FOR HEROES PROGRAM

FLORENCE, KY – The Florence Y’alls, presented by Towne Properties, are proud to announce a new program called Hot Dogs for Heroes, which will provide a taste of America’s pastime to our front line service men and women while we wait for baseball.

The Y’alls want to give back to ALL essential workers during the COVID-19 pandemic, especially the ones that have been overlooked during this time.

To kickstart the program, the Y’alls and their food partners at Glier’s Goetta, Reinhart Food Service, Substation II in Florence, and Bean Haus Bakery & Cafe will be donating 100 lunches to the front-line responders at Boonesprings Nursing Home.

With each lunch, the Y’alls will be donating two undated Y’alls ticket vouchers to a 2020 / 2021 game. The Y’alls want to give them something to look forward to at the end of the pandemic and as a thank you for all their hard work.

Beginning Tuesday, May 5 individuals will have the ability to order a special baseball themed bagged lunch for essential employees in our community as a way to show their thanks.

The Hot Dogs for Heroes program includes:

• One Glier’s hot dog
• One bag of chips
• A bottle of water
• Cookie/dessert from Bean Haus Bakery & Cafe
• Two (2) undated anytime Y’alls ticket vouchers for the 2020 / 2021 season

This $30 value can be purchased for just $7.50 by individuals looking to donate their own slice of America’s past time to essential employees serving on the front lines at this time. All costs include delivery. Individuals can also order these meals for their families and arrange pick-up at the ballpark.

Those looking to get involved should follow these steps:

1. Email Amanda Sipple within the Y’alls front office by clicking here to start the process. She will then contact you about setting up the order.

2. For each order over 25, the individual placing the ordering will receive four (4) complimentary Y’alls anytime ticket vouchers good for a game in 2020 or 2021.

3. For a limited time, any individuals placing an order can add-on undated anytime Y’alls vouchers for the 2020/2021 season for just $6 with a portion of the proceeds going to support our front line service men & women.

The Y’alls are members of the professional independent Frontier League and play all home games at UC Health Stadium in Florence, KY.
