DAVID Bowie’s teenage daughter has secretly moved to Los Angeles and is selling artwork and customized clothing for up to $250 online, The Sun can reveal.
Striking Alexandria ‘Lexi’ Jones, Bowie’s youngest child with former supermodel Iman, is now 19, and photographs of her fashion and art show she has inherited the late star’s creative flair, as well as her mother’s looks.
A close source says she has flown the nest — 2,700 miles to be exact — from her famous mom and half-sister Zulekha Haywood, 46, in New York to LA, where she is “doing her own thing.”
The insider said: “Lexi has been here for a while now, but she isn’t interested in the Hollywood scene and going to red carpet events.
“She’s a great kid and very down-to-earth, most of her friends are also studying art and they spend their time vintage shopping, going to exhibitions and hanging out by the beach.
“The world is Lexi’s oyster, there are a lot of opportunities for her being Bowie’s daughter, but she’s enjoying being a regular teenager for now and making it on her own.”

Despite the Heroes hitmaker leaving the majority of his $100million estate to Iman and his young daughter, Lexi lives a frugal lifestyle and sells her creations on her Depop account, including modern paintings on white canvases and customized denim and leather, all featuring her wacky illustrations.
The creative teen often models the clothing herself, giving a glimpse of her home in LA, and has a following of more than 700 fans who have been purchasing items during lockdown.
“Lexi does not go without, but Iman wants her to learn the value of money, she’s definitely not a spoiled rich kid who gets whatever she asks for,” the source added.
She has also shared photos of her work on her Instagram accounts, along with rare selfies and a tattoo in memory of her late father.
Lexi has a crescent moon shape inked on her forearm, along with the message: “Daddy xx1947-2016.”
Unlike many children of high profile celebrities, such as Paris Jackson and Sofia Richie, Lexi is able to walk the streets without being recognized.
The Sun can reveal she is in contact with her brother, film director Duncan, 48, the star’s son from his ex-wife Angie, who also lives in LA with his wife Rodene and their three-year-old son, Stenton, although they don’t see each other regularly.
The half-siblings lost their father, 69, after a long battle with liver cancer in 2016, and have been keen to stay out of the spotlight.
Two years after her dad’s death, Lexi was reportedly dating Tristan Beltrami, the son of composer Marco, whose score for The Hurt Locker was nominated for an Academy Award.
Tristan, a guitarist with the band The Campbells, is also based in LA, although the pair are believed to have split.
Philanthropist Iman often shields her daughter from the spotlight, but previously shared a photo of her and their dog Max on her Instagram as they celebrated Thanksgiving together last year.
She also reflected on her relationship with the teen in a previous interview with W Magazine, admitting she doesn’t want Lexi following in her footsteps — at least while she’s still young.
“She says I am overprotective,” she revealed. “But I told her, this can all wait, it isn’t going anywhere. Have a life that is private while you can, because one day soon it is going to be public, so enjoy this.”
Iman, 64, was inundated with calls from talent scouts after posting a rare photograph of Lexi on her Instagram account, saying: “Every agency, every designer, called me to say: ‘If she wants to, we’d love for her to model for us.’
“I said: ‘No, she doesn’t.’ I know why they wanted her to model. It’s because she is David Bowie’s daughter.”
The Sun has reached out to Iman’s rep for comment.
