RICHMOND — A 16-year-old boy was wounded in a shooting at a gas station Monday night, police said.
An ambulance rushed the boy to a hospital, police said, and it was unclear whether his injuries were life-threatening. He was shot several times, police said.
The gunfire rang out around 7:30 p.m. at a Valero gas station at 37th Street and Cutting Boulevard, police said.
Police did not announce any arrests, and they have not identified any suspects.
The boy remained hospitalized Tuesday afternoon.
