Kalki Koechlin Shares The Cutest Picture of Baby Sappho And Highlights The Challenges of Being a Mother
Actor Kalki Koechlin is experiencing motherhood for the first time and is making sure that it’s as beautiful as she expected it to be. After a lot of posts from her #9monthsseries, the actor posted a picture of herself with her baby – Sappho. Kalki’s latest Instagram photo shows her carrying her little munchkin in her arms with a smile that explains the sense of relief a mother feels when her child goes to sleep. While baby Sappho looks cutest, Kalki looks radiant flashing an ear-to-ear smile.
Even the caption of her photo talks about ‘sleep-deprived’ state of a new mother. The caption reads, “The past few weeks have really been a state of sleep deprived bliss✨ Thanks for the perfect photo @salomerebello 💋” (sic)
Kalki gave birth to her first child on February 7. The actor also recently posted a picture of her partner, Guy Hershberg, posing with the baby.
Unlike more celebrity mothers, Kalki has never been shy about posting the pictures of her baby on social media. The actor has been educating young mothers about pregnancy and how they should believe in their doctors and learn to accept the changes in their body. In a post dedicated to her doctor, she explained how she was supported by her doctor at the very last moment when she had lost all hopes of giving a natural birth and insisted on using ‘any way’ to get the baby delivered as soon as possible. Kalki wrote how her doctor told her that she should not lose her hopes when she had come so far already and should just keep trying.
