Maxine Waters Says Crips, Bloods ‘In The ‘Hood’ Have More Integrity Than Trump

Another day, another wacky worldview from Mad Maxine.

Rep. Maxine Waters, 81, claims violent street gangs in California have more integrity than President Trump.

“I have worked in some of the toughest communities,” The California Democrat said when asked about the president in a recent interview with Showtime’s “Desus & Mero.” “I’ve worked with gangs. I’ve worked with Crips, I’ve worked with Bloods. And there’s more integrity in many of these young people in the ‘hood than this man has.”

The career politician — now in her 15th term — also said Trump is a “street player” who has “flirted with gangsters.”

“This is a flawed character, and I’ve never seen anything like this,” Waters said. “This country cannot tolerate another four years of him.”

The Crips and the Bloods are rival gangs in the Los Angeles and other urban centers in California who have been killing each other for years. One year the gangs left 800 dead, but they’re as active as ever. Just last Wednesday, rapper Pop Smoke was murdered by rival gang members over his ties to the Crips.

Waters last coocoo comment came last week when she said her home state should have “more say” in the Democratic Party’s primaries because they have “fancy” big-money parties in Beverly Hills.

“As you know, we have candidates who fly out to Los Angeles from everywhere to raise money,” the California Democrat told CNBC.

“As a matter of fact, it had gotten so that you would have two, three, four at a time in Beverly Hills having dinners. And some of our contributors who are very rich were holding, you know, fancy parties, trying to accommodate the request for donations and contributions. And so, you know, the conclusion, the thinking is that if we are supplying tremendous dollars to candidates, we ought to have more say.”

California’s primary comes up on March 3 — Super Tuesday — after a handful of other states hold caucuses and primaries. But Waters thinks California should be front and center at all times.

“Beyond that, a lot of people have come to the conclusion that it should not simply be Iowa and New Hampshire and certainly they are not reflective of the makeup of this country,” Waters added. “And so, California has a role to play.”
