GARY NEVILLE has sensationally added fuel to the Mino Raiola row by labelling the super-agent a “leech.”
Paul Pogba’s controversial agent sparked the initial controversy with a fiery statement on Monday night criticising Manchester United.
He said “you cannot own a human being” and that he hopes Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is not suggesting Pogba is his “prisoner”.
Neville then made a statement suggesting the Red Devils should conduct no future business with Raiola as he continues to try and “embarrass the club all the time.”
Not willing to let it lie, Raiola hit back on talkSPORT, saying: “Oh does he [think that]?
“Gary Neville can go screw himself. He has never done a successful job in his life outside of being a fantastic football player.
“Neville has such a big know-how of football I’m surprised his Salford City are not in the Premier League already.
“I don’t care what Gary Neville says. I have no division with Manchester United, but Ole has smacked out at me on another two occasions – but that is up to him.”
And the war of words has continued after the former right-back slammed Raiola by claiming their argument was his “best birthday wish.”
Celebrating 45 on Tuesday, Neville tweeted: “The best birthday wish I could have had from this leech!”
The Sky Sports pundit believes the saga will end with Pogba leaving Old Trafford in the summer.
The Frenchman is under contract with the Red Devils until 2021 but United have the option to extend that by an extra 12 months.
He has played just eight times for Solskjaer’s side this season and is struggling through an injury-hit campaign.
