KATIE Price says she’s “p***ed off” her dog has died after she left the neighbours to feed them.

The Sun Online revealed Sparkle was killed after escaping from her home and running onto a busy road.

Telling fans about the Alsatian’s heartbreaking accident, Katie said: “I’m really p***ed off this morning. I’ve just woken to realise that one of my dogs has been killed on the road.
“I’ve just checked with the neighbours and everything seems to be how it was when they left the dogs.

“I don’t know how they’ve escaped but, yeah, one of my Alsatians has been hit and killed.

“I was away last night with my PA. I left my neighbours to feed the dogs, cos that’s what they do when I’m not there. I lock them away and something’s obviously happened in the night.”

Katie started plugging her next make-up masterclass within minutes of announcing the death to fans.

Sparkle’s accident happened on the A24 – the same stretch of road where one of Katie’s horses died after escaping from a field in 2017.

The Alsatian is the half-sister of Pricey’s other dog Bear – both of whom have escaped from her West Sussex house a number of times.

In February last year Bear ran onto the same busy dual carriageway – a year after her previous dog was killed by a car.

The fearless pooch hopped a fence near the star’s £2million nine-bedroom Sussex mansion and ran out among speeding traffic – but luckily a passer-by stopped and took Bear to a vet.

Katie’s dog Queenie was allegedly mowed down and killed by a delivery driver dropping off pizza to a neighbour in 2018.

The former glamour model said she was devastated over the death and accused the driver of a hit-and-run.

The telly star’s husband Kieran Hayler, 30, rang the pizza chain to complain and accuse their worker of being responsible. However, the driver denied hitting the animal.

A source told The Sun Online last year: “Katie really needs to shore up her garden as it’s only a matter of time before something bad happens if the dogs keep escaping.

“Luckily motorists spotted the dogs and drove carefully while they were loose and a policeman was on hand to help out.”
