Championship Preview - Morgan Hill
We’re pleased to announce that our Pacific Masters Short Course Yards Championships will be hosted by Morgan Hill this year. Competition will take place at the Morgan Hill Dennis Kennedy Aquatics Center from March 27th - March 29th and the order of events will be the same as past years’ championships. Although this is a new venue for Pacific Masters, this facility has a long track record of hosting large championship meets for USA age group swimming; age group swimmers consider this one of the fastest pools in the Pacific region, and the impressive pool records back that up.
The meet will be running two 8-lane courses with an additional five lanes available for warm up and cool down. The facility boasts a large parking lot, copious on-deck seating space, and two sets of locker rooms, making it an ideal venue for our popular short course championship meet. This competition venue is also conveniently located for people traveling in from out of the area --- there are three hotels directly across the street from the pool and two more less than a mile down the road. Downtown Morgan Hill is also just a couple miles away and provides plenty of dining and shopping options!
