Madonna’s London Palladium gig appears to take its toll as she sports puffy face after two nights of Madame X tour
MADONNA looked unrecognizable as she left the London Palladium following her second night in the city, performing on her Madame X world tour.
The 61-year-old has faced a string of health battles during her tour but despite appearing to suffer from a puffy face, she kept up her glam look with a bright red lipstick and her trademark curls.
The Ray Of Light singer is scheduled to perform a string of 14 dates in the British capital, and was joined by boyfriend Ahlamalik Williams, 26, as they exited the venue.
Wearing a black and gold Versace jacket, paired with fishnet tights and black gloves, Madonna looked tired as she sat in the backseat of the waiting car.
Despite debilitating hip and knee injuries which have plagued her since the tour kicked off in New York in September, The Sun called Madonna’s performance “one of the most extraordinarily physical and emotional concerts in music history”.
She flitted from talk of shootings to dirty jokes, from army deaths to disco classics, all within the spectacular two-hour, ten-minute production.
There was no interval but she managed eight different outfits, three hairstyles and a compelling performance throughout.
However, it hasn’t all gone off without a hitch as her tour has been plagued with cancelations and delays due to injuries, production issues, and scheduling limitations.
Most recently she cancelled in Lisbon, Portugal, with only 45-minutes notice leaving fans completely devastated.
The Queen of Pop posted a video to her Instagram where she can be seen drinking on stage with the rest of her dancers.
The caption read: “Thank you again, Lisbon! Sorry I had to cancel tonight but I must listen to my body and rest!
“That white Port got me through the rest of the show! See you on Tuesday, fingers crossed.”
