DUANE “Dog” Chapman’s late wife Beth warned family about his new “girlfriend” Moon Angell before her death.
A source exclusively claimed to The SunOnline that Beth, who lost her battle to cancer in June 2019, knew the family friend’s intentions would be to “control” the Dog The Bounty Hunter star.

Dog’s daughter Lyssa Chapman sparked dating rumors when she slammed Moon for moving in with her dad only months after her stepmother’s death.
Although Dog, 66, has dodged confirming the relationship, the insider claimed to The SunOnline that the two are “not just friends.”
The source said: “She lives in his home and sleeps in his bed. Beth warned those closest to her this would happen.
“Beth told people because she knew Moon’s intentions, which were to get Duane to trust her, so she could control every aspect of his life.”

The insider claimed Moon’s plan “is working.”
Dog came clean about the romance to family and friends when he was hospitalized in September for a heart issue, the insider said.
The source added: “Family and friends are hurt and disgusted. His relationship with his family is rocky right now.”
In an interview with Radar Online, Dog explained how Moon has been a “trustworthy and loyal friend” for over 20 years.
He said: “She has been with my family through many ups and downs. All my children are grown and gone on their own, there’s no one left to help me!”
The bounty hunter continued: “Moon is experienced. It’s just that. Who knows what my future holds, but right now I need her.
“There will never be another Mrs. Dog but that doesn’t mean I have to be so sad.”
Although The SunOnline insider claimed Dog isn’t confirming the relationship because he’s “ashamed,” the reality star hasn’t been holding back on social media.

In addition to posting a selfie with Moon thanking her, he wrote on one of her photos: “Love you!”
In December, Lyssa, whose mother is Dog’s third wife Lyssa Brittain, tweeted at Moon: “You’re a disgusting woman. Any person who moves in on a man weeks after losing his wife, who you were supposed to be a ‘friend ‘ to, is the lowest scum on the planet.
“Which for you wasn’t that far of a step down from where you were before. God will get you MARY!”
Lyssa continued: “Let’s not forget how you came to know my family because you were with my brother. Now trying to get with my dad.”
The daughter turned to Twitter again to express her disappointment when Dog posted the selfie.

She tweeted earlier this week: “If someone who met your family by dating your brother, tried to date your father after your step-mom died what would you do?
“If you went to your mother’s closet and saw she moved all her clothes and replaced them with her own, what would you do? #ItsNotWhenOrWhyItsWho.”
Lyssa added: “My dad is a GROWN A** MAN. His money. His dynasty. But you can guarantee that my name is not going down in history as a person who supported this.”
