Former FBI Director James Comey said on Sunday that he wouldn’t resign over the findings in the Department of Justice Inspector General report on the origins of the Russia probe if he was still in charge of the FBI.

2. This Terrible Misconduct Goes to the Heart of Our Judicial System (8/29/2019)
The IG report confirms Mr. Comey improperly kept FBI files on President Trump at his home and that he illicitly leaked these FBI files to the New York Times in order to advance his personal agenda of getting a Special Counsel appointed to target the president. Comey also misled both the FBI and Congress about his handling of these documents. On top of all of that, in violation of law, he kept and disclosed classified information.

FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe did not recuse himself from the investigation into former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s unsecure, non-government email server until one week prior to the presidential election. It is being reported that FBI Director Christopher Wray threatened to resign rather than fire McCabe. Is he protecting McCabe?
