Critics’ Choice Awards 2020 film nominations: Best prediction scores by our Editors and Users
Congratulations to our User toddpredicts for an excellent score of 91.04% when predicting the 2020 Critics’ Choice Awards 2020 film nominations on Sunday. He is tied with zack with that score but has a better point score total of 12,507 by using the 500 super bets wisely.
Almost 1,200 people worldwide predicted these BFCA nominees in 10 categories for the announcement dominated by bids for “The Irishman,” “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” and “Little Women.” Our top scorer only missed on “Pain and Glory” (Original Screenplay) and “Weathering with You” (Animated Feature).

To see your own scores, go to the User menu in the top right corner of every page of Gold Derby when you’re signed in to the site. Use the drop down menu to go to “View Profile,” then look for the links to your “Award Show Scores.” Gold Derby must evaluate each potential winner’s eligibility as per our contest rules. For our seven Experts predicting, Peter Travers (Rolling Stone) is on top with 88.06%. Edward Douglas (The Beast), Joyce Eng (Gold Derby) and Tariq Khan (Fox TV) are next with 83.58%. We then have Susan King (Gold Derby) at 77.61%, Susan Wloszczyna (Gold Derby) at 74.63% and Eric Deggans (NPR) at 65.67%. See Experts’ scores.
For our 10 Editors predicting, Marcus Dixon is in first place with 88.06%. We then have a five-way tie at 86.57% for Riley Chow, Daniel Montgomery, Matt Noble, Paul Sheehan and myself at 86.57%.
