THE Pussycat Dolls star Nicole Scherzinger was previously left fuming with band mate Melody Thornton after she appeared to steal one of her solo parts.
The group, who recently reformed without Melody, were performing at the 2006 American Music Awards at the time.
Nearing to the end of the performance, Melody, 35, took centre stage as she began to wail down the microphone while her other band members danced in the background.
Her solo attempt clearly didn’t go down with Nicole, 41, who was visibly raging from her outburst and eyed her up from the side.
As the rest of the girls danced forward, Nicole brushed past Melody to reclaim her place as leader.
The X Factor judge was well-known for taking the lead within the band, which even caused friction between the girls.

An insider previously revealed: “Before they took a break in 2009, Nicole had become the lead singer of the group. It felt natural at the time but now they’re starting planning the tour, some of the girls have demanded Nicole take a back seat.”
“In the old days Nicole became the stand-out star next to Melody Thornton, Kimberly Wyatt, Ashley Roberts, Carmit Bachar and Jessica Sutta. But for the reunion, the women want it to be more of a level playing field.
“Melody’s camp have pushed for talks to iron out all the kinks beforehand. They don’t want anyone to feel sidelined, as it’s supposed to be a celebration of the group as a whole.
“Nicole has been totally laid back about the entire thing and wants all the girls to shine in their own right.”

Melody revealed she passed on the chance to reunite for their 10th anniversary to work on her solo music.
She told us: “I think it would be great for everyone to enjoy themselves and their lives, and whatever direction it is they want to go.
“For me, I’ve spent years developing music and funding it myself. I would really like to get music out on my own as a creative person.”
The band left viewers shocked with their racy reunion performance on the X Factor this weekend.
Some felt the group’s raunchy routine was unsuitable for before the watershed – but many defended the “amazing” performance, insisting: “Just because they dress like that, doesn’t mean they don’t have class.”
Telly watchdog Ofcom say they have received a staggering 419 objections, which puts it on course to be one of the most complained-about TV moments of the year.
The Dolls started off as a burlesque troupe but in 2003 Nicole Scherzinger, Melody Thornton and Kaya Jones joined Carmit Bachar, Ashley Roberts, Jessica Sutta and Kimberly Wyatt to form the group.
The group achieved worldwide success thanks to their numerous hits and award nominations.
