TV presenter Caroline Flack’s bitter ex fiancé Andrew Brady has covered up a tattoo he got of her initials when they were in love – with a giant map of Australia.
The former Apprentice star, 27, was engaged to the Love Island presenter, 40, last year in a volatile, on-off romance.
They split a year ago and the presenter has since found love with model Lewis Burton, 26, while he moved to Australia.
But Andrew posted a spiky message to his followers on Instagram detailing his reasons for the inking cover-up, which he got at Bondi Ink, on Sydney’s Bondi Beach, even claiming that the break-up saved his life.
Labourer Andrew wrote: “It’s exactly a year tomorrow since I left a very toxic relationship and got away. Leaving probably saved my life.
“I mark it one year on by doing something I probably should have done a while ago.”
The initials on his right wrist were etched over with a drawing of Australia and a love heart, telling fans: “It’s finally gone.”
He wrote afterwards: “Out with the old, in with the new.”
The star also replied to a post from a follower telling him about a “toxic” relationship, saying: “What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.”
Caroline admitted to being heartbroken after the split and said in the summer: “Do you know what? I don’t want to be heartbroken again. I just can’t.”
She added: “I feel at my most calm, in control and happiest when I’m single, so at the minute that’s what I’m doing.
“I’m not relying on a relationship to complete me, so there’s no co-dependency going on.
“I’m just better.”
