Schwab in talks to buy TD Ameritrade, reports say
Charles Schwab Corp. is in talks to buy TD Ameritrade , CNBC reported, citing an unnamed source. The initial CNBC report said a deal could be announced as early as today. Fox Business separately reported Schwab will agree to pay $26 billion. The sector has been pressured of late by the move to no-fee commissions.
