Nike x Supreme Are Dropping Their Most Expensive Collab Ever This Week

At this point, Supreme and Nike could drop a flaming bag of dog poop, slap any price tag they want on it, and it’ll still sell out within minutes. (That’s not as farfetched as it seems.) So it only makes sense that the latest collab by the sportswear giant and streetwear icon is their most expensive yet. Thankfully, it’s made of Italian leather, not brown paper.

For their latest seasonal offering, Supreme dug into the Swoosh’s archives and chose the priciest trim of the Air Max 95 ever crafted — the Italian Lux version that was first released back in 2001. The modified, more refined version of the runner boasts high-end Italian leather uppers, the “SUPREME” logo laser-perforated on the side panels, and debossed logos at the tongue and heel. The sneaker comes in saturated red and blue colourways, as well as a murdered-out black option.

Modelled by rapper Octavian in the introductory lookbook, the kicks also feature tonal laces, metal aglets, and a custom-engraved silver hangtag in Italy’s unmistakable boot-like silhouette. Gold logos on the insole add a nice, swaggy touch.

The Supreme x Nike Air Max 95 Lux goes for $500 USD, the highest retail price tag ever on a project by the two brands. Cop them online or at Supreme’s New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, London, and Paris stores on November 7. They won’t be on shelves for long; you can bet on that.
