D’Angelo Russell ejected from Warriors game vs. Thunder
OKLAHOMA CITY — A tough afternoon took a turn for the worse when D’Angelo Russell got ejected mid-way through the third quarter as the Warriors were on the verge of a blowout loss to the Thunder.
The Warriors trailed 79-47 with 7:13 left in the third quarter when Russell drove to the rim and made a floater, drawing contact from Thunder guard Chris Paul. Believing he was fouled, Russell got into the face of referee James Williams, who immediately assessed a technical foul. Russell then followed Williams to the sideline and continued to talk to him. Williams then ejected the 23-year-old guard.

Russell had six points on 3-of-10 shooting in 22 minutes before his ejection.
Stephen Curry was also assessed a technical foul for hitting Thunder guard Terrance Ferguson in the groin area while trying to dribble past him in the third quarter.
