Firefighters on the scene and air tankers were used in battling the fire, authorities said.
SAN JOSE — Firefighters brought a roughly four-acre vegetation fire under control Saturday in a park in San Jose, authorities said.
Crews from the Santa Clara Unit of Cal Fire and the San Jose Fire Department were called out to Santa Teresa County Park just before 4 p.m. Saturday after a grass fire was reported at the top of a ridge.
Air tankers assisted in battling the fire.

By 4:41 p.m., Cal Fire tweeted that the forward progress of the blaze had been stopped.
By 6:40 p.m., the fire was contained and crews were released, Cal Fire said.
No further details about the fire, including what started it, were immediately available.
