MANCHESTER UNITED fans have again called for change at the club in protest against the Glazer family and Ed Woodward.
Supporters marched to Old Trafford from the Tollgate pub in Manchester with a banner saying: “Glazers Out. Woodward Out. Over £1b stolen from MUFC.”
It is claimed that the Glazers have taken hundreds of millions of pounds out of the club since acquiring it in 2005.
SunSport reported earlier in the week how fans were planning a march to the ground in protest against their American owners.
Kevin Glazer is set to sell his 13 per cent stake in United, SunSport exclusively revealed, but it doesn’t mean supporters will be granted their wish that his family will follow suit.
Executive vice-chairman Woodward has constantly faced calls to step down with fans blaming him for the poor recruitment and the decline of United in recent years.
A plane is due to fly over the Theatre of Dreams ten minutes before kick-off between the Red Devils and Liverpool.
The plane will display a banner that reads: “Ed – Still Failing: #WoodwardOut.”
United fans also charted a “#GlazersOut” banner in the opening weekend of the season against Chelsea as owner Avram Glazer looked on.
Gary Neville stated earlier this month that Woodward should’t be at the club.
He said: “I don’t believe the guy (Woodward) at the top should be there doing it anymore, I think he has had his chance but that is another story.”
The Mirror claim that Woodward plans to meet the ex-Valencia gaffer in a bid to get him on his side.
United could trail Liverpool by 18 points should the Reds beat them this afternoon.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side currently sit in 14th spot after eight games played – picking up just nine points.
