TOTTENHAM will make West Brom teenager Nathan Ferguson their top target for the problem right-back slot.
Boss Mauricio Pochettino wants a new face for the position as he struggles to cover for the loss of England star Kieran Trippier.
Since Trippier left to join Atletico Madrid last summer it has exposed a weakness in the squad Pochettino has built ujp.
That has left the Argentine telling his scouting department to keep an eye out for someone who has the ability to come in and make the position their own.

But now Spurs are on the scene and could offer a more glamorous move with a £10million deal.
West Brom want to keep Ferguson and hope to extend his contract, especially with the club looking to mount a promotion challenge in the Championship.
But a Premier League club would be hard to resist for Ferguson if he had the chance of a switch.
The Birmingham-born youngster has become a wanted man in his breakthrough season – and both his defensive skills and ability to go forward mark him out as special.
