Fast-food loving bride has bespoke bouquet made from CHICKEN NUGGETS that she munched on at the reception
A BRIDE shocked her guests after having a bespoke bouquet made from chicken nuggets at her wedding – which she ate immediately after the toast.
Blair Hardy tied the knot with Adam Tyson earlier this month at the Radisson Hotel in Ohio.
Blair is a known nugget fan – even paying extra to have nuggets and fries at her wedding – while serving her guests a traditional meal.
Her maid-of-honour, cousin Jenna Spetz, decided to incorporate Blair’s love of nuggets into her wedding in a more memorable way – and had a bespoke bouquet made.
Jenna contacted Blair’s favourite food company, also called Tyson’s, to see if they could make her day extra special.
To her shock, they responded saying they’d send over an edible bouquet, as well as nuggets for all the wedding guests and a year’s supply of chicken.
Jenna surprised Blair with the nuggets, unveiling the bouquet during her maid-of-honour speech.
She told Business Insider: “Blair’s reaction was priceless! She was grinning from ear to ear and giggling.
“Blair of course ate the dino-nuggets from the toast immediately!”
Jenna made the wedding party do a toast with the nuggets handed out to all the guests after her speech.
She said she racked her brains trying to come up with something to “surprise Blair with”.
“Nuggets immediately came to mind”, she added.
Jenna later posted about the chicken-themed wedding on Instagram saying: “A HUGE thank you to @tysonbrand for helping me pull off this EPIC nugget toast!
“I think the brides more excited for nugs than her new hubby!”
The nugget company even sent a letter wishing them all the best – complete with some marriage advice.
It said: “Always begin and end each day with kisses and nugs.
“Remind each other how dino-mite you are together.
“Double-dipping will only bring you closer.
“Never go to bed angry (unless he ate the last nugget).”
Blair, who met her future husband four years ago at the University of Toledo, said she was in shock after Jenna presented her with the edible bouquet.
She told the Toledo Blade: “I was completely shocked.
“Who would have thought a girl loving chicken nuggets so much and having them at her wedding would go this far?”
She added she and Tyson were: “Married, loving life and about to smash on nuggets for the next year.”
