ARSENAL star Dani Ceballos warned opponent Kristoffer Olsson to “stop acting like Lionel Messi” during a bizarre bust-up.
The pair clashed during Spain’s 1-1 draw with Sweden last night.
The duo collided on numerous occasions during the intense Euro 2020 qualifier in Stockholm.
But it was Ceballos who paid for the bad blood when he was booked for a foul on the Krasnador midfielder in the 69th minute.
The pair looked to exchange words, with Sweden 1-0 ahead at the time through Marcus Berg.
And Olsson revealed after the match, which ended 1-1 thanks to a last-gasp equaliser from Rodrigo, that Ceballos had compared his performance to Barcelona ace Messi.
Olsson said: “He said to me to stop acting like I was Messi.
“I can’t remember what I said back. I thought it was strange. I don’t understand what he really meant.”
It was a surprise that Ceballos was even able to feature in the game after pulling out of Spain’s training session with a hamstring injury last week.
The Gunners playmaker, 23, has been a revelation at the Emirates since joining on loan from Real Madrid.

Ceballos has already clocked up ten appearances under Unai Emery, with his man-of-the-match debut against Burnley a highlight.
He netted his first Arsenal goal in the 4-0 Europa League win over Standard Liege earlier this month.
And Ceballos’ form appears to have signalled the end of Mesut Ozil’s career in North London, with the German wanted by Turkish side Fenerbahce.
