Two of Britain’s worst boxers to fight… with 186 losses and only NINE wins between them
TWO of Britain’s journeyman fighters are finally going head-to-head – having lost 186 times between them in their careers.
Jamie Quinn will mark a century of bouts in the professional ranks by doing battle with Kas Hussain at the end of the month, who will be turning out for the 101st time in his career.
It is a rare chance for two of the battlers on the UK circuit to share a ring together in a real 50-50 contest.
For unlike usual fights, clues to the identity of the winner are hard to come by because of the fact the pair have only tasted victory nine times BETWEEN them.
Stockport fighter Quinn, 29, goes by the nickname ‘Devil Child’ – but in truth he is not quite so menacing having won five times out of 99 bouts.
In that time he has tasted defeat 92 times, but in a mark of his durability he has only been stopped on three occasions.
Sheffield’s Hussain, 26, has had his arm held aloft only four times from his 100 contests, losing 94 of them.
But like Quinn he is also as hard-chinned as they come having been stopped only twice throughout his pro career.
Hussain last won a fight in November 2016, and will be hoping to end an almost three-year wait to taste victory again.
But with neither having stopped an opponent before, and with such durability themselves, the four-round contest at the Oldham Leisure Centre is highly likely to go the distance.
Hussain wrote on Facebook: “Don’t see many fights like this very often.
