Brave girl, 10, fought off ‘paedo monster, 52, who tried to rape her’ by kicking him in the groin forcing him to flee
A BRAVE girl of ten fought off a paedo who tried to rape her by booting him in the groin, police say.
Davin Windham, 52, had allegedly ripped the girl’s shorts down when she delivered a well aimed kick that allowed her to escape as he winced in pain.
Police in Alabama, US, said the victim and her brother were asleep in the house while a family friend was looking after them.
Windham woke the girl and ordered her downstairs to watch television then pinned her to a couch and tried to pull her clothes off, according to court papers.
An affidavit alleges: “She stated that he got her shorts to her knees and that she kicked him in the groin so she could get free of him.
“During a struggle, he began telling her not to tell; that it was their secret. He then fled the area and hid.”
The brother slept through her ordeal and was not harmed, cops added.

Windham is charged in Montgomery District Court with first-degree attempted rape, reports the Montgomery Advertiser.
He was held in custody in lieu of a £24,000 bond.
