Eastenders spoilers: Callum in danger as he ruins evil Leo’s revenge on Whitney
CALLUM Highway will inadvertently put himself in the line of danger in EastEnders next week as he warns Leo King off of ex-fiancee Whitney Dean.
When Whitney’s stall is vandalised, she’s left feeling upset, but Leo is quick to step in and help her before he begins his first day of work with Gray Atkins.
But Leo is left feeling annoyed when he realises that Callum (Tony Clay) could spoil his plan to get close to Whitney.
Determined to put his twisted plan into action, Leo is on a mission to muddy Callum’s name. After he makes a surprising discovery, Leo quizzes Callum in the pub about his time in the army.
When Whitney (Shona McGarty) and Lola arrive, Leo insists that he helps her find out who was responsible for vandalising her stall. But she spots a file on Leo’s laptop with Callum’s name on it.
A curious Whitney opens the file – and is devastated by its contents. What has Leo discovered about Callum?
A furious Callum then warns Leo to stay away from Whitney, but he isn’t bothered at all by his threats and continues to charm her.
Whitney has no idea that Leo is actually the secret son of Tony King, her former step-dad who groomed and abused her while she was a schoolgirl.
Leo – who’s played by Tom Wells in the BBC soap – was exposed back in August after Bianca Jackson caught him talking to her daughter, Tiffany.
Bianca confronted him and told him to stay away from her family, but she was left shocked when he said he would only leave if she handed over the money his vile paedophile dad’s mum gave the family as a way to make up for what Tony did to Whitney.
He had groomed and abused her in a hard-hitting storyline that saw Bianca broken by what she had missed in her own home.
Bianca was unaware that Tony even had a son until he sought her out a while ago and it became clear the pair have had a previous run-in, as he goaded her about attacking him and her recent spell in prison.
Although seemingly charming, Bianca knows Leo is desperate to clear his father’s name, convinced he was innocent. Tony later killed himself in prison out of shame for his crimes.

Not only that, when Leo learnt his grandparents gave Bianca money after everything that happened with Tony, Leo is on a mission to get back what he thinks is rightfully his.
Tom Wells has joined the cast of EastEnders to take on the role of Leo. No stranger to television
Tom has previously starred in Doctors and Bancroft.
He said in a statement: “I’m really excited to be joining the EastEnders team and seeing what’s in store for Leo.”
