The State Attorney Office says no criminal charges will be filed against the deputy in the Grocery Advantage shooting where the suspected gunman was injured.
The report says the shooting took place on August 15 at the Grocery Advantage store located at 4320 Lillian Highway.
The Escambia County Sheriff's Office identified Reginald Booker as the gunman in their investigation.
Court records show Booker later entered a not guilty plea to the charges and was placed on a $2 million bond.
The State Attorney says the officer-involved shooting resulted in Booker being injured during the incident.
The release revealed a review of the shooting was conducted and the deputy was cleared in the investigation says the state.
