Sinjaari has plenty of ability and things haven’t gone his way since he pushed the high-class Headman close in the London Gold Cup earlier in the season.
He will surely win a big pot at some point, but narrow preference is for the progressive TRUESHAN.
Alan King’s gelding showed gears and a good attitude when winning over 1m4f at Wolves and Ffos Las in August (that form has been boosted).
He continued on his upward curve when an excellent second to leading Cesarewitch contender Ranch Hand in a big 1m6f handicap at Haydock last month, just tiring inside the final 100 yards.
A 2lb rise looks a shade lenient, while he will relish the drop back to 1m4f. Ground conditions are in his favour and the booking of William Buick is a big plus (50% strike rate for King).
Elsewhere, Hughie Morrison’s French recruit Le Baol has a Listed win to his name and will be fine on the ground; he could be anything.
Apparate won a big race at Ascot last time out but he could do with the ground drying out significantly.
Kiefer ran no sort of race at York last time (finished distressed) but he should run a big race at a price if bouncing back.
