World champion boxer Errol Spence Jr rushed to hospital after flipping Ferrari ‘multiple times’ in horror high-speed crash in Dallas
ERROL SPENCE JR is in a serious condition in hospital after flipping his Ferrari in a horrific high-speed crash.
The world welterweight champion was thrown out of the vehicle during the smash, which Dallas Police say saw the super-car somersault “multiple times”.
The 29-year-old, regarded as one of the best pound-four-pound boxers in the world, is reported to have been seriously injured in the smash on Riverside Boulevard
A Dallas Police statement said: “At 2:53am a Ferrari traveling at a high rate of speed northbound in the 500 S. Riverfront Blvd.
“The Ferrari veered left over the center median onto the southbound lanes and flipped multiple times ejecting the driver who was not wearing a seatbelt”
Pictures show the mangled wreck of a vehicle with Dallas Police on the scene.
The white Ferrari is thought to have been the only car involved in the accident which took place at around 3am closed to the I-30 in Dallas.
Police say the driver was taken to hospital in a serious condition, although authorities say he is expected to survive.
Earlier in the night, the boxer posted a video to his Instagram Stories showing a pal dancing in a nightclub.
Spence Jr is undefeated as a pro, winning all 26 of his fights, 21 by KO and is the reigning IBF and WBC welterweight world champ.

His most recent scrap was against fellow American Shawn Porter, which he won with a split decision.
It was regarded as one of the fights of the year.
Spence Jr famously battered GB boxer Kell Brook in May 2017, stopping the Sheffield man in the 11th round.
The fighter, who was born in Long Island, New York, is now a Dallas resident in the DeSoto neighbourhood.
