Crystal Palace hunt culprits as Wilfried Zaha is again racially abused on social media
WILFRIED ZAHA wants the strongest possible action after being racially abused again on social media.
Crystal Palace have reported the bigot to the police and Instagram chiefs.
In defence of Zaha, the club said in a statement: “Crystal Palace Football Club has taken action after one of our players has again been subjected to racist abuse on social media.
“We will not tolerate this behaviour being directed at any of our players and will fully support them in dealing with such incidents.
“Any action we can take unilaterally as a club will be taken immediately and we will also seek cooperation from other clubs where relevant, following that we will pursue the matter criminally with the full force of whatever the law allows.”
A spokesman for Anti-discrimination campaigners Kick It Out said: “It’s frustrating to continue to witness hatred on social platforms and demand the platforms come forward with actions.”
The latest outrage comes a day after Chelsea star Tammy Abraham said England players are ready to walk off the pitch if they suffer racial abuse in their Euro 2020 qualifiers in the Czech Republic and Bulgaria.

Zaha spoke out against online racist abuse he received last season.
He wrote: “For all the people being racist and wishing death on my family I wish you and your families the best too. PS My life is very good despite your hate.”
