Spurs keeper Hugo Lloris suffers dislocated elbow having been assessed at a local hospital after horror injury
HUGO LLORIS has not broken his arm but HAS dislocated his elbow, Tottenham have confirmed.
The Tottenham keeper has been released from hospital after a horror injury saw his elbow buckle out of shape after a fall in the 3-0 defeat.
A Spurs statement read: “Assessment will continue this coming week to ascertain the full extent of the injury and the length of time he will require to undergo rehabilitation.”
Lloris‘ left elbow twisted horribly when he spilled a cross for Neal Maupay to tuck home a third-minute opener.
French World Cup winner Lloris writhed in pain behind his own line while Brighton celebrated their goal in the Premier League’s lunchtime game.
Spurs’ team-mates called for club medics, who gave Lloris an oxygen mask during several minutes of treatment.
Lloris was eventually helped onto a stretcher and taken to the dressing rooms, where he was given morphine to ease his discomfort.
Argentine stopper Paulo Gazzaniga came on for the 32-year-old, who was promptly taken to hospital.

And later this afternoon Menichini tweeted: “No fracture for Lloris who should leave the clinic in the evening.”
Get French Football News said Menichini’s message meant: “Hugo Lloris has not suffered a break of any kind to his hand, wrist, elbow or arm.”
