RuPaul’s Drag Race UK viewers in tears as Michelle Visage compliments Queen on her ‘fake nose’ – before realising it’s REAL in awkward moment
DRAG Race UK got off to flying start tonight as 10 British drag Queens sashayed their way across the stage.
And viewers were left in tears of laughter when Michelle Visage praised The Vivienne’s fake nose – before being told it’s real.
“Your Queen look was fantastic, you’ve got prosthesis…” Michelle started.
“I haven’t, this is my face,” she said, deadpan.
“Stop it! That’s your nose? I don’t mean that rudely, so what you have his full face makeup on, with highlighter and there’s lighter contour but there’s no darker contour so I don’t ever see it like that.
“You have literally changed your entire face, by coming out here like that.”
Ru Paul wouldn’t let her old friend get off easily and told her: “Michelle, that’s her nose!”
Everyone else fell about laughing and viewers at home were in tears of laughter – taking to Twitter to cringe together.
And fans of the show were creasing up even more when they noticed Alan Carr’s reaction.
“I’m so gone,” he exclaimed.
The Emmy-winning search for the next drag superstar is a sensation in the US, where it has run for 11 series and won a feverish cult following.

Fishy – a drag queen who could pass for a biological woman, used as a high compliment
Gag – react intensely, usually from shock
Padding – cushions used to create the illusion of hips, legs or boobs
Read – wittily expose a rival’s flaws
Realness – authenticity
Sashay away – how RuPaul dismisses a queen from the competition
Serve – present oneself in a certain way, such as: “I’m serving glamazon realness.”
Shade – bitchiness; “throwing shade” is to insult someone
Shantay, you stay – how RuPaul confirms which queen from the bottom two stays in the contest
Sick’ning – beyond awesome, so good you make everyone sick
Sissy that walk – walk with sass
Slay – win or be the best
The T – truth, news or gossip
Werk – strut or perform
Yaaaas – a term of encouragement

From tonight, ten drag queens are competing to show who has the most “charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent”.
The winner will whizz off to Hollywood to star in their own digital series.
