Elizabeth Warren just hired a Planned Parenthood lobbyist to help run her presidential campaign.
Warren, a Democratic senator from Massachusetts, supports third-trimester abortions on viable, healthy babies and taxpayer-funded abortions, and she opposes legislation to protect newborns from infanticide.
Most Americans oppose these radical pro-abortion positions, but they are what the abortion industry wants. So, it is no surprise that Warren would hire an abortion lobbyist to help run her campaign.
Tampa Bay Times reports Kimberly Diaz Scott, 29, will run Warren’s presidential campaign in Florida. Scott comes from Planned Parenthood’s political arm in the state, Florida Planned Parenthood Alliance, where she worked as a lobbyist for five years, according to the report.
Diaz Scott celebrated her new post Tuesday on Facebook, the report states.
“I won’t be far from the movement, as I’m humbled and proud to announce my transition as the Florida State Director for Warren for President, assuring that we will continue to fight like hell to elect a brilliant leader who will work to protect the health, safety and future of ALL people,” Diaz Scott wrote. “2020 is not for the rich or selfish, 2020 is for us.”
Warren and Diaz Scott are not working for all people, though. Quite the opposite, they are fighting to destroy protections for babies in the womb and pro-life Americans. They want to see an end to the Hyde Amendment, which protects American taxpayers from funding elective abortions.

Warren also opposes common-sense restrictions on abortions, such as when unborn babies are viable outside the womb. When asked about abortion limits during the presidential debate in June, she responded:
“I would make certain that every woman has access to the full range of reproductive health care services, and that includes birth control, it includes abortion, it includes everything for a woman. And I want to add on that. It’s not enough for us to expect the courts to protect us. Forty-seven years ago, Roe v. Wade was decided, and we’ve all looked to the courts all that time, as state after state has undermined Roe, has put in exceptions, has come right up to the edge of taking away protections…”
Earlier this year, she also voted against the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which would protect newborn babies from infanticide.
Polls consistently show that these positions are radically out of touch with most voters. Gallup polls consistently have found that a majority of Americans think all or most abortions should be illegal. In 2018, 53 percent of respondents said abortions should be legal in only a few (35 percent) or no circumstances (18 percent). Polling on taxpayer-funded abortions consistently shows strong opposition as well.
But it looks like the Warren campaign is going to start taking its orders from abortion activists, not the voters who it claims to represent.
