Heartbreaking moment 17-month-old boy buries his dad, 21, stabbed to death in Sheffield street
A HEARTWRENCHING photo of a 17-month-old helping to bury his dad who was stabbed to death has been shared by pals.
Lewis Bagshaw, 21, was stabbed to death in Southey, Sheffield in July – leaving behind his girlfriend Olivia and their son.
Carter Bagshaw, who shouted: “daddy” as videos of Lewis played during the wake, held the shovel as soil was thrown onto the grave.
Olivia Keeley, Carter’s mum, said that she hoped the image would “stop just one person from picking up a knife or gun”.
Jordan Kissack posted the picture on Facebook with the caption: “Just a little advice for people that carry/use knives and guns. STOP!”

“Let that feeling sink in,” he said.
“Think before using a knife, or anything in fact, to take somebody’s life.
“RIP my dear friend, and your legacy will live on for Carter to remember every detail about you.”
Jervaise Bennett, of Bishopholme Close, Shirecliffe, and a 16-year-old boy have been charged with murdering Mr Bagshaw.

Olivia said her partner was focused on looking after their son and passing his driving test.
