I’m 18 and fallen for a 35-year-old colleague after a drunken kiss – but she’s acting like nothing has changed

DEAR DEIDRE: A DRUNKEN night out with the other staff led to me kissing an older woman from work.

I’ve fallen for her – but nothing has happened since then.

I work for a large baker’s shop. I’m in the back with the ovens and the lady I like works out front with the customers. I’m 18 and she’s a gorgeous 35.

We had a night out as one of the women was leaving. We went for a meal and then on to a club.

This woman asked me to dance then we kissed.

When I saw her at work the next day she was friendly as usual like nothing had changed.

I haven’t been able to get her alone and I don’t want to send her a text.

DEIDRE SAYS: A good choice. Don’t send her a text. That dance was just fun and that kiss was just down to the drink.

Maybe she should have known better with someone so young but this isn’t the start of a romance so keep your imagination in check.

Keep it friendly at work and get busy making friends with people who are nearer your age.
