Meghan Markle plans to rediscover her love for cooking while in South Africa
MEGHAN plans to rediscover her love of cooking again on tour in South Africa – after she and Prince Harry started having meals delivered from the Queen’s chef.
The feasts are regularly driven from Windsor Castle to their Frogmore Cottage nearby.
But a royal source revealed she has missed preparing food herself and wants to do so on the trip.
Meghan, 38, Harry, 35, and baby Archie are due to arrive in Cape Town at 9am for the start of their ten-day tour.
She will cook traditional South African food at a Cape Town community centre.
She hopes to “heal” with food in the same way as when she joined women survivors of the Grenfell fire disaster in West London at the Hubb community kitchen last year.
A royal source said last night: “The Duchess of Sussex loves to cook, and enjoys entertaining.
“While they often cook for themselves, from time to time, Their Royal Highnesses request meals from the Windsor Castle chefs, which they pay for privately.”
Food fanatic Meghan used to give recipes and tips on her blog The Tig before she met Harry.
The couple were famously roasting a chicken when Harry proposed in 2017.

The tour starts in Cape Town, with the Sussexes and their 14-strong entourage arriving on a BA flight.
Meghan and Archie will stay in South Africa while Harry travels to Botswana, Angola and Malawi on Thursday.
He returns to Johannesburg next Tuesday, and the royals will leave next Wednesday.
