Third night game in a row at Wrigley has to be a record, right? Tyler Mahle gets the ball in this one for Cincinnati. The Reds have only won two of his starts since May, and the second one was his last start in Seattle. He’s running out of games to make his case for the 2020 rotation, and could use a strong start tonight. Bell has had a quick hook with him, though, as he hasn’t made it out of the 5th in his last two starts.
He’ll face Jon Lester for the Cubs, which means this game isn’t going to end until after midnight ET. Have fun with that recap, Wick.
First pitch is set for 8:05 PM ET.
