ZINEDINE ZIDANE’S return to the Champions League with Real Madrid got off to an awful start at Paris Saint-Germain.
Los Blancos were thrashed 3-0 in France and have a real mountain to climb in Group A after the crushing defeat.
Ex-Madrid winger Angel Di Maria bagged a first-half brace before Thomas Meunier wrapped the win up in second-half stoppage time.
Stats also showed the Bernabeu club did not have a single shot on target.
And despite the fact Zidane only rejoined the Spanish giants in March, fans online were calling for him to be sacked.
One posted: “Zidane is a big fraud and was a successful in his first tenure at Madrid all thanks to the Goat RONALDO! #PSGRMA.”
Another said: “If Zinedine Zidane has any sense he’ll go into his privacy settings on LinkedIn, and make employers know he’s open to new opportunities. Just in case.”
Group A
Club Brugge 0 – 0 Galatasaray
Paris Saint Germain 3 – 0 Real Madrid

Group C
Dinamo Zagreb 4 – 0 Atalanta
Shakhtar Donetsk 0 – 3 Man City

While one more posted: “Zidane is beyond finished without Ronaldo. How do you splash £500m on players in one summer & have a team playing this poorly? Sacked.”
Many online suggested the only reason Zidane was brought back to Madrid was so Florentino Perez could sack him properly.
The legendary Real player resigned from the post initially on 31 May 2018.
