NANDO’S is trialling a new lunch time meal deal that costs just £5.95 – but only in 37 restaurants across the UK.
Fans of the fast food chicken chain will be able to customise their lunch deal from options that include the fan favourite 1/4 chicken and one side.
You can also choose from three wings and one side, as well as a Caesar salad and veggie cataplana.
All the standard sides on the Nando’s menu are included in the deal, such as the chicken chain’s signature Peri Peri chips and a creamy helping of mash.
There’s also a new item in the lunch menu as Nando’s introduces a Peri Peri chicken bowl.
This teams the classic spicy sauce on chicken fillets, mixed with spicy rice, baby spinach, chargrilled sweetcorn and peppers.
NANDO'S has announced that 37 restaurants will be testing out a new £5.95 lunch deal.
Here’s where you’ll be able to test it:
The new lunch time deal is ready to order now, Monday to Thursdays, until December 2.
It’s available in all participating restaurants from when they open until 3pm.
It remains to be seen if Nando’s will carry on the lunch deal after the trial period is over.
There are currently 340 Nando’s in the UK and you can find out if you live near one that’s hosting the lunch offer by clicking here.
The chicken chain claims many options in the meal deal are under 600 calories, with 289 in a 1/4 chicken and 190 calories in the three wings.
KFC recently announced its “fill up lunch” deal is back and it costs £1.99 for a burger, wings and chips.
This offer is available every day before 3pm at participating restaurants, and will run until October 19.
The mini fillet burger alone will usually set you back £1.49, while two hot wings will cost you 99p.
With a regular side of fries coming in at 99p as well, the full price of your lunch meal would normally cost you £3.47 – so you’re saving £1.78.
If chicken isn’t your choice, then Pizza Hut has just announced it is extending its famous unlimited lunchtime buffet to include weekends.
While customers can currently get a lunchtime meal deal at Greggs for £3.15, including a sandwich, bake, pasta or salad and a drink.
