The other thing that’s clear in these videos and in Williamson’s comments is that he has already forged a deep bond with his fans. Those kids in New York are just about in rapture over his appearance and don’t overlook the significance of what he says here: he’s not about to let people who care about him down.
Aside from his spectacular gifts, if you want to look at the secret of his appeal, it’s that reciprocity as much as anything.
