Alexis Sanchez has joined Inter Milan on loan for the season, joining up with Romelu Lukaku who signed on a permanent deal earlier in the summer.
Sanchez flopped badly at United so is hoping to restart his career in Serie A, the league he played in before signing for Barcelona in 2011. He spent three seasons at Udinese before moving to La Liga and has claimed he is happy to be returning, after being convinced by Lukaku.

He came to Old Trafford as one of the best players in the league but leaves under a cloud. Sanchez has claimed he doesn’t regret signing for United despite his form at the club.

Lukaku will be glad to have a friendly face in the squad after a fairly turbulent few weeks in Milan.
