DHANGADHI: Two persons were killed and five others injured after the jeep they were travelling on veered off the road and fell below in Mellekh Rural Municipality-7 of Achham district today.
The deceased have been identified as Kiththi Saud and Kaushi Saud, local residents of Nandegada area in Mellekh-7.

Of the injured, driver Nrip Saud and a passenger Janak Saud are said to be critical condition. Another passenger injured in the accident has been identified as Manisha Upadhyay while two others are yet to be identified.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Jank Bahadur Shahi at Achham District Police Office, a bolero jeep (Se 1 Ja 986) en route from Nandegada to Mangalsen, the district headquarters, fell about 50 metres below the road killing two persons on the spot and injuring five others near Nandegada Bazaar, at around 2:30 pm today.
All the injured were rushed to Bayalpata Hospital for the treatment, police informed and added that it was yet to ascertain the cause of the incident.
