Gaurav Chopra’s widow alleges gastroenterologist Dr. Eric Yoshida told them as recently as July 11 that Chopra had to abstain from alcohol for six months, a rule the doctor confirms was changed in May. Chopra died Aug. 3, four months after he stopped drinking in order to qualify.
