Alex Trebek is back to work on Jeopardy following his cancer treatment.
The 79-year-old host revealed his pancreatic cancer diagnosis five months ago, and in May he announced that his tumors had shrunk by more than 50 percent.
He is currently taping episodes for the show’s 36th season, which premieres on September 9 in syndication and has been in production for over a month, THR reports.
“I’m on the mend, and that’s all I can hope for right now,” Alex Trebek says in a video message posted on the show’s YouTube channel on Thursday (August 29). “Let me tell you, it’s going to be a good year.”
