Cops hunting woman after ‘teenage girl is groped on train’
COPS are hunting a woman who sexually assaulted a teenage girl as she travelled from London Euston to Milton Keynes.
The woman allegedly groped the young girl’s thigh “a number of times” between 7.15pm and 8pm on August 19.
A British Transport Police spokesman said: “We are releasing a CCTV image after a sexual assault onboard a train from London Euston to Milton Keynes.
“A woman is reported to have touched a teenage girl’s thigh a number of times.
“The incident happened between 7.15pm and 8pm on Monday August 19th.
“The woman then left the train at Milton Keynes.”
He added: “Officers believe the woman in the image may have information that could help their investigation.
“Anyone who knows her is asked to contact BTP.”

According to British Transport Police, the number of sexual offences recorded increased by 16 per cent in 2018.
The figures show that between April 2017 and March 2018, 2,472 sexual offences were reported, while 2,132 were reported between April 2016 and March 2017.
TFL believe the rise is due to their ‘Report it to Stop it’ campaign.
