A few of the world’s greatest players converged in Monaco on Thursday for the 2019 Champions League group stage draw, which left Lionel Messi and Barcelona facing a potential Group of Death.
A total of 32 teams were separated into four pots, and drawn into eight groups of four. Group stage play will begin on September 17th. Each team will play a double round-robin schedule, and the two teams with the most points from each group will advance to the knockout stage.
