Lamia were playing Panathinaikos in the first game of the Greek Superleague when VAR were called into action for an incident on the pitch.
The TV coverage switched to the VAR room with three officials monitoring the game.
However, a fourth man appears and delivers a bag full of food for the hungry referees.
Fans on social media could not believe the gaffe, with VAR again in the headlines, this time for something off the field.
One said: “When hunger strikes, it strikes!”
Another said: “”Probably a bribe…’here is your kebab now disallow this goal!'”
One added: “Camera catches delivery man bringing in the souvlaki for the team of refs and assistants. Wouldn’t want them to go hungry.”
The match ended 1-1, with Lamia taking the lead before ex-Manchester United player Federico Macheda equalised with a penalty.
