A massive temple, dating back to 2nd century BC, existed at the disputed land in Ayodhya and Muslims could not lay claim to it just because they offered namaz at the site, counsel for deity Ram Lalla told the SC on Friday. Senior advocate C S Vaidyanathan said, "even a street could be used to offer namaz by Muslims but it did not mean that the street would become a mosque."
