Flag Football Evaluations – Monday, August 19
We are excited to be kicking off another season of 78 Youth Sports Flag Football this fall. As in years past, in an effort to balance teams, we evaluate all of the NFC (ages 9-10), AFC (ages 11-12), NFL (ages 13-14) and XFL (ages 15-16) players before the start of the season and build teams through a draft.
ALL PLAYERS, INCLUDING COACH’S CHILDREN AND THOSE ON OUR WAITLIST, MUST BE EVALUATED.
Our second player evaluation this season will be held Monday, August 19, from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. at Van Voorhees Park (Columbia Street & Atlantic Ave). Please note if you arrive after 7:00 pm, we may not be able to evaluate your child.
With almost 400 players this season we want to evaluate as many as possible in August so please attend if you can.
The final evaluation will take place on Tuesday, September 3 at Van Voorhees Park, from 4:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
The season will begin September 13 and run through the weekend before Thanksgiving in November. No games will be played October 11 – October 13.
All games will be played on the weekends on artificial turf fields – at Van Voorhees field, Washington Park and Pier 5 at Brooklyn Bridge Park. Until schedules are created we cannot say which divisions will play where.
