Why did Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth break-up?
According to an official statement made by Miley’s rep, the genetically-blessed couple parted ways to “focus on themselves and careers.”
News of the split was first circulated on August 11, 2019, just eight months after they’d tied the knot.
A representative for the Hannah Montana star confirmed the Hollywood couple’s separation in a statement that read:
“Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what’s best while they both focus on themselves and careers.
“The pair will still remain dedicated parents to all of their animals they share while taking time apart.
“Please respect their process and privacy.”
What happened with Kaitlynn Jenner?
Just a matter of hours before the split was confirmed, Miley was spotted kissing Brody Jenner’s ex-wife Kaitlynn Carter during a girls’ getaway to Lake Como, Italy.
Kaitlynn, 30 – who is a star on The Hills: New Beginnings with Brody as well as a blogger – was seen smooching 26-year-old Miley in the Italian hotspot.
The girls couldn’t keep their hands off of each other and didn’t seem to mind who saw them.
The pair lay sprawled out on a mattress overlooking the lake with their legs were entwined as they snogged in the sizzling heat.
The women were inseparable, frolicking in their private pool not far from where George Clooney owns a £26 million mansion.
Just a week prior to the pics, Kaitlynn and Brody confirmed to US weekly that they had ended their union, saying: “Brody Jenner and Kaitlynn Carter have decided to amicably separate.
“They love and respect one another, and know that this is the best decision for their relationship moving forward.”
