Jannia, however, needed to pull out all stops to halt the challenge of Telangana's Amita Gondi 11-3, 12-10, 9- 11, 9-11, 11-8 in the final and emerge triumphant.
Advait Adik of Maharashtra took down higher-ranked Diwakar Singh of Uttar Pradesh in straight games to clinch the boys' U-19 trophy.

In the girls' final the two opponents split the first four games to reach the decider.
The final game was perfectly balanced at 8-8 and just when it looked like anyone's game, Jannia scored 3 straight points to take the game 11-8 and become champion again.
Meanwhile, Aparajitha Balamurukan of Tamil Nadu shocked second seed Sachika Balvani of Maharashtra to seal her place in the women's final.
